Role Summary:

Reporting to the Team Leader and taking direction from the Creative Advisors/Graphic Designers, the Production Artist will produce pieces across all mediums including print and digital.  In this position, the selected candidate will work independently and in a team environment to ensure files are flawless before being published through various mediums. The selected candidate will have strong communication skills and high attention to detail that will be leveraged by the entire corporate communication team to ensure extraordinary quality support is delivered to all internal and external stakeholders.
As a Production Artist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Completing all production work including: text changes, flowing of text, applying design style to complementary pieces, file prep, pre-press, etc.
  • Communicating directly with Communications and Creative Advisors to complete projects
  • Working with production and print coordinators to produce print and digital quality files
  • Maintaining electronic files
  • Managing competing deadlines and projects under the supervision of the creative team
  • Working efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Working collaboratively with team members to advise on digital and print projects
  • Following up with requests to ensure timelines are effectively scheduled and completed
As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications:

Education: College diploma, bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Graphic Design

Work Experience: Two or more years of agency or corporate experience. (Print/Digital portfolio samples of your work is required)

Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, be self-motivated and work very well independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing production schedules
  • Incredible attention to detail and accuracy in order to maintain and protect brand standards
  • Ability to build effective relationships with creative, print and communications team
  • Professional and dedicated work ethic
  • Well-rounded, detail-oriented and committed with an eye for design and a desire to be part of a team in a corporate setting
Computer Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software.  Direct production experience with Microsoft PowerPoint is required.

Language Skills: Proficient in French and English both spoken and written is considered an asset for this position
