The Special Authorization Unit is responsible for making decisions concerning health needs for products that require authorization. In this role you will service various contracts and work as a member of an overall medical professional team. The primary goal of the Special Authorization Unit is to provide positive health care outcomes through on-line case assessment using computer technology.
As a SAU Nurse your key responsibilities will include:
As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications:
Education: Active Registered Nurse.
Work Experience: have practical nursing experience, including knowledge of medical conditions in relationship to pharmaceutical treatment.
Other Qualifications: You have excellent negotiation and decision-making skills, are multi-tasked and thrive in a fast-paced environment, have superior verbal communication skills and you are able to work shift work on a rotating basis.
Computer Skills: possess strong computer skills or aptitude.
Language Skills: Bilingualism is a requirement for this role. French and English both written and spoken.
In this position you will work various shifts from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Due to our contractual obligations the incumbent must be a Canadian Citizen and receive enhanced reliability security clearance.

Communication Skills: You are able to write and speak clearly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
