In this role you will be responsible for processing and delivering incoming and outgoing mail in a high volume, fast-paced environment, as well as preparing payments and other materials for mailing.
As a Distribution Clerk your key responsibilities will include:
As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications:
Education: High school diploma and/ or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience: Previous experience in a mailroom or a mail preparation centre.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to lift packages and boxes up to 25 kg and stand on feet for up to 7 hours/day; working knowledge of Canada Post shipping system, Canada Post VCD system, Purolator shipping system and Dynamax shipping system, are considered assets;
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Word and Excel;

Analytical Thinking: Makes decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure and able to make a quick decision.

Customer Orientation: Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers and gains their trust and respect.

Team Work Skills: Enjoys working as part of a team in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
